Ballynahinch Guided Estate Walk

The Estate guided walk is a signature Ballynahinch experience. Ballynahinch Castle has been part of the history of Connemara and its people for centuries. Join one of our professional guides as you embark on a fascinating journey through this history, whilst absorbing the many sights and breathtaking landscapes the 700-acre estate has to offer. With a history dating back to the 1300’s, your guide will walk you through some of the fascinating stories of the estate. Immerse yourself in the smaller details as your guide highlights some of the flora and fauna that can be found on the estate grounds, including ancient gnarled oak trees, red deer, pine martins, Atlantic salmon and brown trout that can be spotted jumping along the river.
The guided walk of the estate takes approximately 2 hours with comfortable terrain and is perfect for guests of all fitness levels. This is the perfect activity for families, couples, as well as solo travellers and will be tailored to every individual.

The guided walk of the estate is priced at €30 per person. (2026 Prices)
