Tour de Bog

The 2026 Tour De Bog cycle race will leave Roundstone village and will make its way to Ballyconneely and back along the Bog Road through breath taking scenery until it reaches the village of Roundstone again.

Bicycles are available to hire if needed. Helmets must be worn. T-shirts to be purchased and must be worn.

Locals and visitors can participate in this fund-raising event with all money raised going towards Community Projects. This is a great day out for all the family.

EVENT SAFETY:

NB: The road will not be closed for this event and you must adhere to the normal rules of the road.

• Cycling on the route is maximum of two a breast but preferably single file.

• The event is a fun cycle and not a race so you are responsible for your own safety and the safety of others on the road.

• Tour de Bog marked signs will be placed throughout the route and marshals will be evident throughout the route. Please remember marshals are only there to assist. You must check for oncoming traffic at all junctions

• You are responsible for taking part in the event on a safe and suitable bike. Participants are responsible for their own bike maintenance prior to entering the race

• Please ensure you have spare tubes in the event of a puncture and do not rely on the emergency number for help with changing punctures etc.

• No earphones permitted

• No tri bars permitted

FIRST AID:  An Ambulance will be available should anyone require medical assistance

SIGNAGE : The Tour de Bog route will be marked out with directional signage.
