Get Ready For A Celebration Of Creativity And Culture As We Host Our Much-Anticipated Inishbofin Arts Festival On The May Bank Holiday Weekend!
Experience a tapestry of creativity with visual arts, mesmerizing music, captivating theatre performances, literary delights, amusing comedy and much more. Join us for a cultural celebration against the stunning backdrop of Inishbofin.

Inishbofin Arts Festival is supported by the Arts Council of Ireland.

Friday 1st May 

8.00pm –  Festival Opening, Launch of Arts Exhibition

9.00pm  – Friday Night Concert (€30):  Headline performance by  The Kilkennys , supported by Triona Moogan    (Community Centre)

 

Saturday 2nd May

12.00pm –  Weaving Workshop with  Bofin Weaves   (Murray’s Yard, Doonmore Hotel)

1.00pm –  Drumming Workshop with InTuneDrums  (Inishbofin National School)

2.00pm –   I’m Still Here: A spoken word performance by  Cathal O’Reilly   (Community Centre)

5.00pm  – Theatre(€15): PADDY:  The Life & Times of Paddy Armstrong  (Community Centre)

9.00pm  – Saturday Night Concert(€30):  Headline performance by  Paddy Casey , supported by  Cedar Dobson    (Community Centre)

 

Sunday 3rd May

12.30pm –  Felt Art Workshop with Jackie Jefferson  (The Dolphin Hotel)

1.00pm –  Circus Skills & Puppet Show  (Inishbofin National School – 2hrs)

2.30pm  – Afternoon Concert(€15) :  An afternoon of music with Irish Guitar Quartet  (St. Colman’s Church) 

5.00pm –  Opening of the ‘Wool Barn Boutique’ – by  Mogosh Wool Craft  (Lower Middlequarter)

9.00pm  – Sunday Night Concert(€30):  Headline performance by The Byrne Brothers , supported by DAWNA  (Community Centre)


How to Get There: You can reach Inishbofin by taking the ferry from Cleggan. Ferries run regularly, and the short 30-minute journey itself is a scenic experience.
