Festival of Wild Atlantic Writing
Many works of literature, both old favourites and contemporary publications, have been inspired by the magnificence of Ireland’s coastal haven, the Wild Atlantic Way. In celebration of this, a festival of Wild Atlantic Writing will take place in October 2017 at Doonreagan in Cashel, Co Galway.
A former home of Poet Laureate Ted Hughes, this stunning location will host a jam-packed schedule of events to cater for every taste. Enjoy talks from established writers while exploring the rugged coastal with fellow literature lovers.
Lively discussions will take place, there’ll be examples of new writing to enjoy, and you won’t be able to stop your creative juices from flowing in this place where Ireland’s storytelling heritage can almost be felt seeping from the wilderness, while enchanting sites will set the mind racing.
