- Deirdre Stephens Exhibition PORTACH – Wall Hanging in the Visitor Centre
Tuesday 26th May 2026
- 5.30am – Dawn Chorus with Ranger Dermot Breen (tea coffee & scones/toast after event in the Hungry Hiker Cafe) meet in park carpark at 5.30am (Booking is essential)
- 11am to 1pm – Mixed Media Collage – Bog Themed Workshop with Deirdre Stephens Textile Artist. Adult only event (booking is essential)
- 12noon & 3pm – Roundstone Bog Film in the AV Building
Wednesday 27th May 2026
- 2pm -Site Visit to John O’Sullivans Farm Oughterard, a 1hr walk and talk to explore the Alternative Practices, Paludiculture and vision for the decades ahead for a peatland farm. Free bus from Connemara National Park departing at 2pm from the main carpark. (Booking essential)
- 12noon & 3pm – Roundstone Bog Film in the AV Building
Saturday 30th May 2026
- 10.00am Conference with guest speakers, Dermot Tiernan Coillte, Verena Berard, and Margaret Flaherty Wild Atlantic Nature.
- 11.45am Guided Wild Flower Walk & Talk with Aedín Ní Thiarnaigh
- 1.45pm Bog Restoration Project in the park by Eamonn McLoughlin & Dúlra team members Dermot Flaherty & Robbie McDonagh followed by walk to bog restoration site.
Sunday 31st May 2026
- 11.30am – Guided Walk & 2.30pm – Children’s Scavenger Hunt (children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian)
- Afternoon music in the courtyard from 12noon to 1.30pm
Monday 1st June 2026
- Tae on the Bog & Rambling Road event starting at 11.00am with storytelling, music, tea & biscuits and a guide walk
- 3pm-Roundstone Bog Film in the AV Building
